Dead of Summer: What We Already Know About the Suspicious Characters

It may seem like Alex is the superficial jerk of the group, but he's so much more than that. Through a flashback, we learn that he is actually from the Soviet Union and his real name is Alexi Fayvinov. Upon moving to America, he had witnessed his father being treated poorly for his immigrant status and so he decided to change his name to Alex. When he got older, he took a job at the dry cleaner where his father used to work and enacted revenge on his old boss. He found a tape of the boss cheating on his wife and used it as blackmail to steal clothes from the dry cleaner.
