Quantico: Let's Get to the Bottom of This New Deadly Mystery

Trust no one. That's what we learned from the first season of Quantico, though at this point, I think we can probably trust Alex, Ryan, Shelby, and the Amin sisters. The central mystery of season two is just heating up, and we know very little about the new crime. The premiere shows that a terrorist group calling themselves the Citizens' Liberation Front have taken control of a central part of Manhattan. They want pardons for those who have been imprisoned for global security breach, and they're threatening to unleash a biological weapon if their demands aren't met. Oh, and they're about to behead the first lady. None of this is good, and I'm willing to bet that, as per season one, someone we've met is helping from the inside. Already, we know one of the failed National Clandestine Service recruits, Jeremy Miller (er, Paolo Silva), is in on it. The question is, who else?

01
Owen Hall
ABC

Owen Hall

If you didn't finish season one, stop reading now. OK, all good? Now, there's no way we can trust authority after last season. Liam O'Connor was supposed to be the good guy, and instead he turned out to be the biggest criminal mastermind of them all! The fact that the authority figure turns out to be the bad guy in season one makes me think the writers won't go the same route twice, so I'm betting Owen is actually on our side.

Lydia Bates

But what about his daughter? Season one also gave us a tumultuous relationship between an authority figure (Miranda Shaw) and her troubled kid, but Lydia and Owen seem to get along like two peas in a pod. Maybe the twist in season two will be that this supposedly perfect agent is working for the other side?

03
Harry Doyle
ABC

Harry Doyle

And then there's Harry. Harry, Harry, Harry. He's almost too obvious to be a suspect, isn't he? His character is so commanding that he feels like more of a red herring than anything else. If we're all watching him, we're not looking at the real double agent.

Dayana Mampasi
ABC

Dayana Mampasi

Is it Dayana? We don't know much about Alex's new roommate, which means there's plenty of room for a dark and mysterious past.

05
León Velez

Likewise, Ryan's roommate hasn't divulged much about himself either. He's up there on our of possible traitors.

06
Sebastian Chen
ABC

Sebastian Chen

The first episode showcases next to nothing about Sebastian Chen, but he's included in a lot of pictures from the second and third episodes, leading me to believe he become more of a key player on the season — and if he's a key player, he's a key suspect.

This Blond Lady
ABC

This Blond Lady

Much like Sebastian, we haven't seen a lot of this person (or any of her, really), but there are a lot of pictures of her in upcoming episodes. What's her deal? The actress who plays her, Heléne Yorke, isn't even listed as a character on the show yet, so we don't know her name or how she's involved. We do know that she could be public enemy number one.
