Throughout the first few episodes, we couldn't shake the dreaded feeling that Jack might be dead in the present day. We've never been more sorry to be correct. He's clearly such a good dad, which is why we're mourning the loss with everyone else who's devastated. The worst part is that he hasn't died on the show yet, so we have that tearjerker of an episode to look forward to.
