While the society in The Handmaid's Tale almost seems to have gone back in time when it comes to technology, the world built in Black Mirror has skipped ahead. There are three seasons (between three and six episodes each) on Netflix, and each tells a story more horrifying than the last. You'll have to look hard to find a happy ending in Black Mirror, but if you're already watching The Handmaid's Tale, you're no doubt used to bleak storytelling.
