In totally unsurprising news, we're already starting to obsess over season four of Outlander. Not only do we have a handful of exciting details about the upcoming season, but also some intimate shots of Claire and Jamie embracing their new lives in America. Maria Doyle Kennedy as Aunt Jocasta
Now that Maria Doyle Kennedy's lengthy run as Siobhan Sadler on Orphan Black is at an end, we're excited to see the Irish actress joining a new series! She's on board as the strong-willed and opinionated Jocasta "Aunt Jocasta" Cameron. As the youngest sister of Ellen, Colum, and Dougal MacKenzie, Jocasta grew up with the family at Castle Leoch. Later on in life, she fled with her husband to an American colony in North Carolina, where she bought a large plantation with smuggled gold. Jocasta plays a big role in Claire and Jamie's eventual arrival in the colonies, since she offers them a place at her plantation, River Run.

Ed Speleers as Stephen Bonnet
Downton Abbey and Wolf Hall alum Ed Speleers is playing Stephen Bonnet in season four. Without giving too much away, the villainous Irish pirate and smuggler's story will intersect with Brianna's fate in a horrific way. Fingers crossed the writers decide to switch up their interaction for TV.

Billy Boyd as Gerald Forbes
Claire and Jamie will run into Gerald Forbes, a wealthy lawyer in Cross Creek who they meet through Jocasta. As for who's playing him? Entertainment Weekly revealed that the role went to Scottish actor Billy Boyd, who you've seen in the Lord of the Rings franchise, Seed of Chucky, An Urban Ghost Story, and The Flying Scotsman.

Simona Brown as Gayle
We're finally going to get a look at Brianna's life outside of her family, which includes her college roommate, Gayle. Before joining Outlander, Simona Brown appeared in Netflix's Kiss Me First and AMC's critically-acclaimed miniseries The Night Manager.

Tim Downie as Governor William Tryon
You probably know Tim Downie from his work in The King's Speech and Paddington, and now you'll be able to see him in Outlander as Governor William Tryon, who actually existed IRL. According to EW, we know he'll be "ambitious" former soldier who "uses his family connections to land the position of governor."
Natalie Simpson as Phaedre
Natalie Simpson is a theater pro, having acted in everything from King Lear to Hamlet, as well as the TV miniseries adaptation of Les Misérables. She'll be playing Jocasta's maid and seamstress, Phaedre, in River Run.
