Everything contributes to this otherworldly atmosphere in the most ordinary of settings like a random city street, or the inside of a car going down a long strip of road. The insanely talented cast wonderfully portrays the gods who readers came to love in the novel. That being said, you don't have to be a fan of Neil Gaiman's original story to be thrilled by the mesh of sensational and whimsy that the series accomplishes.
