Instead of focusing on the hierarchy and competition within just one school, "Bring It On" expands the rivalry between multiple high schools — or, more specifically, their cheer teams. Senior cheer captain Torrance is determined to lead her squad to victory, which makes it all the more upsetting when a new recruit accuses them of stealing routines from another team. They soon discover that their choreographer double-crossed them, selling the same routines to multiple schools. It's up to Torrance and her team to figure out a new path forward that will put them back on top of the cheer world, where they believe they belong.
