19 Netflix Originals You Need to Watch Now — If You Haven't Already

The new year is almost here, which means it's time to catch up on your favorite Christmas movies like White Christmas and Home Alone and maybe start a new tradition or two as you decorate your Christmas tree.

Our plan is to Netflix and chill — but we mean really, really Netflix. If you're not sure what we're talking about, don't worry, we'll explain. As 2018 comes to a close, we've decided it's time to catch up on the best Netflix original series the streaming service released this year. Yes, we're talking season one and season two of Queer Eye, 13 Reasons Why refreshers, and of course all of the Fall and Winter premieres we might've missed.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

In October, the first season of the highly anticipated drama Chilling Adventures of Sabrina dropped on Netflix, and our lives have never been the same. This series takes on the life of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, played by Kiernan Shipka and based on the Archie comics, but it's much darker than you might remember. Don't worry, though; Harvey (Ross Lynch) and both Aunt Hilda (Lucy Davis) and Aunt Zelda (Miranda Otto) are still in the mix. Plus, on Dec. 14, fans will get an all-new holiday special starring everyone's favorite teenage witch.

When the new season picks up on Dec. 7, Colt's brother Rooster (Danny Masterson) will be nowhere to be found after he is threatened with his life by a crazy man and therefore must leave behind everyone he loves to spare them pain and possible harm. This leaves Colt and his father to run not one but two ranches.

Starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, Maniac is about two strangers who take part in a pharmaceutical trial that promises to solve all of their problems without any complications.
