Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: 8 Things I Need Them to Address in Season 2

Warning: this post contains spoilers for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina!

I've decided that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is very much my new favorite thing. After a weekend of binge-watching the dark new Netflix series, I may or may not have joined a coven and gotten baptized in the Church of Night — I'm kidding, I haven't . . . yet. Anyway, as much as I enjoyed the first season, I am now left with a boatload of questions that I'd appreciate having answered for me when the second season rolls around next year. Filming is underway, and I promise I'll be patient while waiting for my 10 episodes — but in the meantime, here are eight things I'll be stewing over until the next witching hour cometh.

01
Why does the Dark Lord want Sabrina so badly?
Netflix

Why does the Dark Lord want Sabrina so badly?

It becomes clear in the season one finale that instead of a regular shmegular fellow witch, Miss Wardwell is actually Lilith — "the mother of demons, the dawn of doom, Satan's concubine" — and hopes to groom Sabrina to take her place so she can be the "queen of Hell."

Sabrina definitely doesn't strike me as someone who's down to be Satan's concubine — when has she ever followed a rule or let a man (or beast) control her? Also, she's not completely insane. So I don't know why Sabrina is such a great candidate for this role, but I'm going to need to find out soon. This could be some Harry Potter sh*t I might not be ready to relive.

02
Will Aunt Hilda finally exact her revenge against Zelda?
Netflix

Will Aunt Hilda finally exact her revenge against Zelda?

On Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Aunts Hilda and Zelda have a pretty normal sisterly relationship; they argue here and there but always come together for good, and especially when helping Sabrina sort out her rogue spells. But in the Netflix series, Hilda and Zelda are a Snapped episode waiting to happen. Their dynamic is such a far cry from the aunts that I'm used to that it took me a few episodes to adjust to it.

In addition to talking down to her sister any chance she gets, Zelda also has a habit of murdering Hilda any time she annoys her. We find out that Hilda was brutally harrowed (read: hazed) by Zelda during their time at the Academy of Unseen Arts, and when helping Quentin and the rest of the dead harrowed children, she admits that getting revenge can make a person feel better.

Zelda is a bad b*tch, fiercely devoted to both the Dark Lord and her tight-knit family and struggling with supporting them both. Hilda, while more mild-mannered, clearly still has a dark side. Will she finally stand up for herself against Zelda? And if so, how gruesome will it get?

03
Are Prudence and Sabrina going to team up for real?
Netflix

Are Prudence and Sabrina going to team up for real?

Sabrina and Prudence Night — the fantastically wicked leader of the Weird Sisters — have their ups and downs during season one, but the finale episode finds them walking side by side through the halls of their boarding school in matching outfits. One can only assume that Sabrina will link up with Prudence, Dorcas, and Agatha for more chilling adventures. I for one would love to see Sabrina and Prudence put their bad b*tch powers together for more good . . . or just to torment more mortal boys.

04
Sabrina is definitely going to hook up with Nick, right?
Netflix

Sabrina is definitely going to hook up with Nick, right?

Even though she is technically dating Harvey Kinkle, the chemistry between Sabrina and Academy of Unseen Arts student Nick Scratch is evident during season one. Nick doesn't let Sabrina's relationship status deter him from flirting or offering up his own dating services, even telling her that he is "down with sharing." If that isn't enough of a declaration, he also shows his support for her by helping Sabrina resurrect Harvey's older brother Thomas and replace his soul with Agatha's, and tries to convince Harvey to forgive Sabrina after the fallout. I wouldn't mind if Sabrina lets Nick "Scratch" her itch in season two, if you know what I mean (and I think you do).

05
What's going to happen with Ambrose and Luke?
Netflix

What's going to happen with Ambrose and Luke?

It is pretty adorable to watch romance bloom between Ambrose Spellman and Luke Chalfant, but like: what's up with Luke? There's something going on with that guy, right?

To me, Luke is oozing some seriously mysterious f*ckboy vibes — he's the only other person who may know what really happened to the warlock Connor, and I find it suspicious that Connor's iguana familiar ends up dead right after Ambrose and Luke hook up. There's also the matter of Luke ghosting on Ambrose (nice to see that witch dudes are just as flaky as mortal ones) and his "working" with Father Blackwood to reform the Church of Night. Something's just not right, and I'd appreciate finding out what it is in season two.

06
Will Harvey try to kill Sabrina? I'm genuinely asking.
Netflix

Will Harvey try to kill Sabrina? I'm genuinely asking.

Harvey Kinkle comes from a long line of witch hunters in Greendale — this we know. It also happens that Sabrina tangentially got his brother killed in a mining accident, literally brought him back to life, then killed him again, via Harvey himself. She broke up his family, thus breaking his heart; why wouldn't he want revenge? By the season one finale, Sabrina and Harvey seem to officially part ways as a couple. Will his witch-hunting genes kick in next season? And will Sabrina fight back?

07
Will Sabrina go full bad girl?
Netflix

Will Sabrina go full bad girl?

I suspect that Sabrina's world will get even darker now that she's signed the Book of the Beast (and become a platinum blonde), but just how wicked will she be? The final scene of the series shows Sabrina walking the halls of the Academy of Unseen Arts alongside the Weird Sisters, wearing their signature lace-collar dress. This can only spell drama, as far as I'm concerned. And to be totally honest, I'm ready for Sabrina to lean farther into her witch side.

Where does Miss Wardwell get her hair done?

Where does Miss Wardwell get her hair done?

OK, this is more of a personal ask, but have you seen that blowout? Leak the salon details!
