Based on Justin Cronin's novel series of the same name, this Fox drama will follow a young girl (played by Saniyya Sidney) who is chosen to be a test subject at a secret medical facility and the federal agent (played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar) tasked with bringing her there. However, rather than turning her over to the dangerous experiment, the federal agent finds himself acting as a surrogate father, doing everything in his power to protect his young charge.
