We're counting down the days until Stranger Things returns for its third season on Netflix! One of the first pieces of news to drop was the cast list for season three, confirming who's coming back and what new storylines might be on the horizon.
Never fear, all your faves from seasons past are set to return to Hawkins for another go-around, but there's a few new faces in town who are sure to shake things up. Read through for a full rundown of who to expect to see when the third season kicks off on July 4!
Winona Ryder
The Golden Globe nominee returns as Joyce Byers, the courageous and determined matriarch of the Byers family.
Finn Wolfhard
Wolfhard is back as Mike Wheeler, one of the show's main protagonists (and newly in a relationship with Eleven!).
David Harbour
The sheriff is still in town: Harbour returns for his third season as police chief Jim Hopper.
Millie Bobby Brown
Recently recognized as one of TIME's 100 most influential people of 2018, Brown returns to Stranger Things as psychokinetic Eleven.
Caleb McLaughlin
McLaughlin returns as Lucas Sinclair, following a love triangle storyline in the second season.
Charlie Heaton
Sensitive Jonathan Byers is back, as Heaton returns for a third season as the older Byers brother.
Joe Keery
His character Steve Harrington might have lost the girl, but Stranger Things hasn't lost Keery!
Gaten Matarazzo
Matarazzo rejoins the rest of the cast as Dustin Henderson.
Natalia Dyer
Dyer returns alongside the rest of her TV family as big sis Nancy Wheeler.
Sadie Sink
After being first introduced in the second season, Sink is back for another year as "Madmax" Max Mayfield.
Noah Schnapp
As Will Byers, Schnapp's character kicked the whole show into gear way back in season 1. He's back for a third round for the upcoming episodes.
Priah Ferguson
First seen as a side character in season two, Ferguson's Erica Sinclair is set to have a much bigger role in the upcoming third season, as she gets right in the thick of it all.
Maya Thurman-Hawke
Stranger Things's third season is set to welcome a handful of new cast members as well. Thurman-Hawke will play Robin, an "alternative" girl bored with her ordinary life and her job at the local ice cream parlor.
Cary Elwes
Elwes's new character, Mayor Kline, is about as far from his heroic The Princess Bride role as you can get: Netflix describes him as "handsome, slick, and sleazy . . . your classic '80s politician — more concerned with his own image than with the people of the small town he governs."
Jake Busey
Busey is set to arrive in Hawkins as Bruce, an amoral journalist working for the local newspaper.
