According to Lupita Nyong'o, White Walkers Actually Have a Lot in Common With the Tethered

After her incredible performance in Jordan Peele's mind-bending horror film, Us, it's safe to say that Lupita Nyong'o knows a thing or two about what makes a good villain. The Oscar winner is also a devoted Game of Thrones fan, which explains why in preparation for one of the most highly anticipated (and anxiety-inducing) episodes of the season on Sunday night, the actress took a moment to compare her twisted Us character to GoT's own Night King.

In a Twitter thread shared just ahead of the Battle of Winterfell, Nyong'o pointed out the major similarities and differences between the Tethered — the murderous, red-jumpsuit-wearing body doubles on a mission to decimate and replace America's population in Us — and the White Walkers. From both groups' signature weapons to the note about their fashion choices, I have to admit that some points were made.

Read ahead to see some of Nyong'o's thoughts as you take some time to cool down from Sunday night's insane battle episode.
