The Scoop: After the defeat of Tobias Whale in season two, the Pierce family will continue protecting the streets of Freeland in season three — but it won't be easy. Freeland has been plagued by government-sponsored experiments and drug trafficking that have created metahumans and addicts while making Freeland a target of a dangerous foreign power, Markovia. The nation of Markovia and their teleporting assassin, played by Tosin Morohunfola, are planning an invasion with their own army of metahumans and it's up to the Pierces to put a stop to it.
