5 Haunted Houses We Hope to See on Future Seasons of the Haunting Series

Granted, any number of Edgar Allan Poe's works could be adapted for the series and I'd be happy, but The Fall of the House of Usher has the closest vibe to both Hill House and Bly Manor. The story follows an unnamed narrator who receives a letter from his friend Roderick Usher asking for his help. He goes to Roderick's family home, where it's revealed that Roderick's twin sister, Madeline, is deathly ill. Things begin to unravel at the house, with Roderick burying his sister in the family tomb, despite the fact she may still be alive. Since this is actually a short story, it might be good for Flanagan to take inspiration from some of Poe's other works, like he did with Henry James during Bly Manor.
