In a tweet posted on Dec. 3, 2021, alternative rock band Wallows, fronted by "13 Reasons Why" star Dylan Minnette, announced that they would be releasing their sophomore album, "Tell Me That It's Over," on March 25. The band also created a new interactive website where they teased snippets of four songs from the album, including "Especially You."

On March 25, the band came through and released the full album, which features songs like "Hard to Believe," "Missing Out," and "I Don't Want to Talk."
