"There's so much to be explored. I personally would want to see Quinn (Grace Byers) and Isabella give it a shot. I think they have the foundation to have a really strong, deep connection and relationship because they're coming from a place of friendship. They have this care for each other and this mutual respect and I think it will be fun to see how Isabella kind of holds Quinn's hand through all of this, because it's not going to be easy. It's not going to be a walk in the park. But I think that they're going to learn so much from each other and champion each other. And I think they have a beautiful relationship.
But I'm also just curious to see all of the problems they're going to have — whether it's with their mother [or] whether Shawn (Ri'chard) is still in the picture — what [are] all those conflicts and how they're going to tie in a comedic element. That's what I would be excited to see."
