Isaac — who's most known for his roles as Poe Dameron in the most recent Star Wars trilogy and Duke Leto Atreides in the 2021 adaptation of "Dune" — portrays Moon Knight, aka Marc Spector/Steven Grant. Isaac's role in the Disney+ series marks his second role in a Marvel film, following his cameo as Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099 in the 2018 animated film "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse."
During an October 2021 interview with Variety, Isaac said playing Moon Knight was so rewarding for him as an actor. "I found so much room to do things that I've never done before and had been curious about and wanting to do," he revealed. "I could not wait to get to set, and it was the biggest workload I've ever had in my career and most challenging; by the sheer amount of stuff we had to do in eight months, and even yet, I couldn't wait to get to set and work."
