Megan Thee Stallion Makes Her "P-Valley" Debut as Tina Snow

Megan Thee Stallion is turning heads at The Pynk in "P-Valley" season two. Following the second season's June 3 premiere, Starz revealed Megan's special-guest appearance as Tina Snow, a character inspired by her rap alter ego of the same name, who makes a cameo in episode nine.

In first-look photos of Snow shared on June 13, Megan is decked out in diamonds and fur, but fans who caught "P-Valley" season two's second episode on June 12 already had a leg up on what to expect from the Grammy winner's character. During "Seven Pounds of Pressure," DJ Neva Scared (Brandon Gilpin) turns down Lil Murda's (J. Alphonse Nicholson) offer to join the Dirty Dozen tour because he's busy recording with another artist in Atlanta. From a distance, we hear the artist, voiced by Megan, say, "Run that beat back for a real b*tch," giving golden-eared fans a heads up about her upcoming appearance on the show.

"We knew nothing was gettin' past da #PynkPosse! Ya'll heard right, thee Houston Hottie herself @theestallion is joining us for season 2!" the series tweeted on June 13.

On Aug. 7, Megan finally made her long-awaited appearance in "P-Valley"'s ninth episode, titled "Snow," where she took over the main stage at The Pynk alongside Lil Murda to perform their collaboration "Get It on the Floor" — an original track Megan wrote and recorded just for season two. In addition to "Hot Girl," this is Megan's second song to land a spot on the "P-Valley" soundtrack — which drops in full on Aug. 14.

Megan's "P-Valley" character name is a nod to her real-life alter ego. It's also the name of her 2018 EP, which features the single "Big Ole Freak." Inspired by rapper Pimp C's alter ego Tony Snow and the confidence his music instilled in her, Megan describes Tina as a "more raw version" of herself. In a 2020 interview with the "Zach Sang Show," she said, "Tina Snow is the side of me that's a little more gangster. She's just foot-down, F y'all."

The rapper's latest TV cameo comes after appearances on HBO Max's "Legendary" as herself and in crime comedy-drama "Good Girls" as an exotic dancer named Onyx. Megan is also set to star in A24's "F*cking Identical Twins" alongside "Saturday Night Live's" Bowen Yang.
