"Dead City" will see Negan and Maggie travel "into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror," per the official logline for the upcoming series. The unlikely pairing will definitely make for some dramatic narrative, as the two had not been on the best of terms after Negan killed Maggie's husband, Glenn (Steven Yeun). The series will likely explore their redemptive character arcs as they find a semblance of mutually beneficial partnership, or perhaps a friendship, better still.
