After leaving Nickelodeon's sketch comedy series "All That" in 2005, Spears went on to star as the title character in "Zoey 101" for three years until the series ended in 2008. During her time on the show, Spears received several nominations for her performance as Zoey and even won favorite TV actress at the 2006 and 2007 Kids' Choice Awards. Although some fans speculated "Zoey 101" ended due to Spears's pregnancy at the time, she has since clarified that wasn't the case. "The show had already wrapped and there was never a negotiation to go into any more seasons. We were too old. It was done," Spears told Nylon in 2020.
