Things Get Very, Um, Awkward When Paul Rudd Reconnects With His "Cousin" Mandy on SNL

Saturday Night Live understands the struggles of video-chatting during this time of self-isolation. After addressing them in a Zoom call parody with Aidy Bryant and Kate McKinnon, the show tackled another branch of virtual woes: awkward reunions with certain family members. In a sketch from the April 25 at-home episode, Paul Rudd makes a special appearance to FaceTime his cousin, Mandy (Heidi Gardner). The two attempt to make small talk, but things become increasingly uncomfortable as Mandy hurls a few insults at Rudd and his career. "Man, you're different. You changed, little Paulie," she says.
