Descendants star Sofia Carson stopped by Good Morning America on Thursday to promote ABC's Disney Family Singalong, and performed a classic Disney song in the process. Carson chose to sing "Someday" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame in part due to her mom introducing the song to her as a child, and because it is "a prayer of hope" and "a song that we all need to hear right now."

Starting with a snippet of "God Help the Outcasts" before going into "Someday," the performance served as an uplifting reminder that even in the bleakest times, hope still exists and that it's all around. Carson's rendition of "Someday" was just a taste of what was seen as part of the sing-along, which included performances from Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, the cast of High School Musical, Derek and Julianne Hough, and many more. Watch the full clip above to remember that we will all be able see each other in person "one day, someday soon."
