Taylor Swift Announces Collab With Ice Spice — and Another Vault Track — on "Midnights" Special Edition

There's no rest for the weary — especially if the weary's name is Taylor Swift. The star is currently causing parking-lot havoc around the country with her Eras Tour, performing over 40 selections from her lengthy discography. But all that jet-setting apparently didn't keep Swift from recording a surprise special edition of her "Midnights" album, which will feature a remix of her hit "Karma" featuring rising rapper Ice Spice.

"Um. SO much to tell you," Swift teased in a May 24 tweet. "I'm a massive fan of this brilliant artist and after getting to know her I can confirm: she is THE ONE to watch. So delighted to say that 'Karma' Featuring the incredible @icespicee_ will be out TOMORROW night at MIDNIGHT ET as a part of the new 'Midnights (Til Dawn Edition)' deluxe album that you can pre-order now." She included the preorder link — but the revelations didn't end there.

"[S]he is THE ONE to watch."

Wrote Swift, "In addition to 'Karma Ft Ice Spice' . . . You asked for it, we listened: Lana and I went back into the studio specifically to record more Lana on 'Snow on the Beach.' Love u Lana." The track was featured on the original edition of "Midnights," released in October 2022. At the time, fans of Lana Del Rey lamented online that while they were happy with the pairing, they wished Del Rey was featured more prominently on the track.

There was still more from Swift, though. She announced that fans attending her upcoming Memorial Day weekend shows in East Rutherford, NJ, will receive "a new special edition CD available ONLY on site starting at 12:30pm ET on Friday!" The CD will include a new vault track from "Midnights" called "You're Losing Me."

It's been a busy time for Swift. In addition to her Eras Tour, she split from long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn and has since been seen out several times with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy.
