Holy Toledo, Batman! This Adorable Cake Smash Is Giving Us Serious Superhero Vibes

After 26-year-old Emily Batman married her husband, she knew that her incredible surname would become a huge part of her identity, and the same could be said for her adorable 1-year-old son, Kase McCoy Batman. So when it came time to shoot a cake smash for Kase in honor of his first birthday, Emily called photographer Leslie Page with a theme in mind: her namesake, of course.

Emily told Love What Matters how the influence of her new super memorable last name played a big part in her son's life — even before he was born. "We had some of the best name suggestions given to us: Bruce Wayne Batman, Robin Anne Batman, Alfred Gotham Batman (just to name a few). My husband was actually really entertained with his name selections. I eventually talked him out of any crazy Batman-themed name."

Apparently, little Kase is a natural in front of the camera, and that means the bad guys don't stand a chance. "He sure loves the camera, so it ended up being a great photo shoot!" she told POPSUGAR, adding that her family will have to up the ante with their second son, Kolt Maverick Batman, who's due in April.
