1 Little Girl Had the Best Answer to a Sexist Homework Question

Robert Sutcliffe, a dad from Birmingham, UK, took to Twitter to share a photo of his daughter Yasmin's homework assignment and drew attention to her epic response to a sexist question.

In the "Write the Word" section, students were asked to identify, of all outdated things, a "hospital lady." The little girl had the perfect answer: a surgeon. As you can see, her teacher also suggested the word nurse in keeping with the "ur" theme ā€” which by the way still applies to the word surgeon.

Sutcliffe and his wife, who are both surgeons, were not having the worksheet, which was actually first printed in 1997. The Twittersphere wasn't having it, either, as the tweet has amassed more than 10,000 "likes" in 13 hours.

In fact, other parents have started chiming in on social media, praising Sutcliffe for having such a smart daughter, but the best response so far came from a mom who's hung up on the "hospital lady" description:
