A 9-year-old boy tried to take the wheel of a moving car after his mom jumped out — because of a spider.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Angela Kipp was backing out of her driveway in Syracuse, IN, when she noticed a spider on her shoulder and panicked. She leaped from the car — leaving her son in the back seat — while the vehicle was still in motion. The boy climbed from the back into the driver's seat to try and stop the car. Instead, he accidentally hit the gas pedal and sent the Dodge accelerating backwards into a school bus.
Luckily, there were no passengers on the bus and the driver was not hurt, but the boy was reportedly taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
