Pull-Apart Chicken Instant Pot Recipe

You likely already have them in your kitchen. I use three chicken breasts (a little goes a long way), but you can use as many as you need. You also need about a cup of chicken broth and some salt and pepper, and you're good to go.

2 Prep Is Quick and Easy

Just season the chicken with salt and pepper and put it into your Instant Pot along with the chicken broth.

3 It's Ready in Less Than 15 Minutes

Close the lid, make sure it's sealed, hit "Pressure Cook," and set the timer for 13 minutes. You can increase or decrease the time depending on how much chicken you're making.

Once the timer goes off, you're free to just vent and open the lid.

5 Now, Shred

You can shred your chicken any way you like. I prefer to use my Kitchen Aid because it requires the least amount of effort. Put the chicken into the mixing bowl, turn it on to the lowest setting, and let the mixer work its magic.

7 Take Your Pick

The sky is the limit here. I use this for chicken salad, chicken soup, and chicken pot pie, or I mix it with some sauce and call it a day while my picky eaters just eat it plain or with their favorite sauce. I'm a big fan of the Tikka Masala simmer sauce and garlic naan from Trader Joe's. I also like to mix it with TJ's Soyaki sauce and serve it over rice with some veggies on the side. Barbecue sauce works great, or, if you like some heat, add a little buffalo sauce and serve it in celery boats.
