Summer Infant Monitor Recall 2014
Recall Alert! 800,000 Baby Monitor Batteries Being Recalled!

It may be time for a new baby monitor. Summer Infant is recalling 800,000 rechargeable batteries used in its various baby monitors, after more than 20 reports of overheated and ruptured batteries resulted in smoke and minor property damage. This follows a 2011 recall in which more than 58,000 monitors were removed from stores. The batteries were included in several monitor models that were sold between 2010 and 2012.
