How This Baby With Down Syndrome Turned a Hit Instagram Account Into a Modeling Contract

It's hard to gain an impressive Instagram following, especially when you aren't even a year old. But that hasn't stopped the adorable Micah Quinones from gaining just over 23,000 followers on his Life With Micah account. In fact, his photos are so swoon-worthy that he's landed a modeling contract. Sure, it didn't hurt that his proud mom, Amanda Booth, is a model herself.

It's almost not worth mentioning that Micah was diagnosed with Down syndrome when he was 3 months old. Judging from his Insta snaps, he's as precocious as the next baby — goofing around during bath time, chilling out with the family dog, and posing in some seriously stylish ensembles — and loves posing.

"As soon as the camera comes out, he looks right into it," she told ABC News. "Everyone says to [Micah]: 'You're just like your mother.'"

Amanda admits that when she discovered her son had Down syndrome, she was fearful of what life would be like for him, but now she realizes — like a popular Instagram account — it doesn't define him.

Still, she does hope she'll be able to work with her son on a campaign or two. Although he hasn't yet caught up to her legions of followers — the 26-year-old has nearly 60,000 fans on Instagram thanks to appearances in campaigns for Target, Old Navy, and Lancôme — we have a feeling that may change soon enough.
