I was in the middle of a divorce at just 21 years old and I was seriously questioning if there would ever be anyone out there for me. I hated being alone, I hated struggling on my own without anyone to lean on for strength. A year later Troy came back into my life. He was the last person I ever wanted to talk to after a rough 3 year high school relationship with him but somehow, God put us on the same path again. After only 5 months of dating we found out we were having a baby. 4 years later I find myself thanking God that he had a better plan for me, for bringing Troy into my life again, changing both of our hearts and for blessing me with this strong, Godly man. I've always known that I needed a strong, Godly man. A man that would be stronger than me and a man that I could let my inner control freak settle down and trust to make the best decisions for us. It wasn't through nagging that Troy would put God at his center, it was praying for God to give Troy a change of heart. Maybe you're in a place in your life where you're questioning your future, wondering if God has the right person out there for you - instead of praying for him to bring you the right person, I challenge you to pray that God would help you become the right person. Or maybe you're finding that you and your partner are in a tough season of life and I pray that you would ask for God to work on your hearts, to put the others needs before your own and that your hearts would be open to change. God has a way of molding us in our toughest times and it's up to us to decide how we're going to come out of the storm. 💛 Thank you Troy for leading our family with such confidence and grace. You are an amazing man for God and I'm so so blessed to do life with you. @troyleehunt @alexajeanbrown A photo posted by Alexa Jean Brown (@alexajeanfitness) on Sep 5, 2016 at 8:47am PDT Share This Link Copy ← Use Arrow Keys → 12 Previous Next Start Slideshow ParentingPostpartumPostpartum Bodies
