Kate Middleton Shopped Her Own Closet For Her Latest Royal Engagement

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took a trip to Rotherham, England on Wednesday to open McLaren Automotive's new Composites Technology Centre. For the occasion, Kate reached for one of her go-to styles: a smart, belted coat dress in her signature power color. It's the second time we've seen the duchess in this cobalt Eponine London design: she first wore it in January 2017 while visiting the Anna Freud Centre in London.

Back then, Kate teamed the chic coat with navy suede Rupert Sanderson heels, and in a case of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," she reached for those same shoes this time around, too. She did switch things up a tiny bit when it came to her clutch bag — swapping suede for leather — but beyond that, this look was a straight repeat. And why not? When a dress is this chic, of course it deserves to be worn more than once.
