Olivia Culpo's Marchesa Dress at the Oscars 2017
Olivia Culpo's Custom Marchesa Gown Doesn't Only Look Good — It Gives Back, Too
With the 2017 Academy Awards red carpet heating up, there's one big question on everyone's mind: who's wearing what? Enter your best guesses, but we have a solid favorite look so far: a custom Marchesa gown for fashion influencer Olivia Culpo. The dress, created by Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman for Stella Artois's Buy a Lady a Drink Campaign, was unveiled on the red carpet.
The dress incorporated glass beads made from Stella Artois's limited-edition chalices — for each one sold, clean water is delivered to developing countries — and the look is the first Marchesa gown to ever be made out of glasswear. "It's giving back in style," said Olivia when we asked her about the partnership. The Marchesa dress, it seems, is already promising to steal the red carpet spotlight with its powerful backstory.
