Meghan Markle's Evil Eye Bracelet Could Be the Classiest Way to Shade the British Press
Meghan Markle kept the bad vibes away during her recent royal tour with one small yet mighty accessory: an evil eye bracelet. While traveling across Southern Africa with Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex wore a dizzying array of chic outfits, and on two of the 10 days, she accessorized with a dainty Alemdara evil eye bracelet that's become the talk of the town.
The first day Meghan chose to sport the piece of jewelry on the tour was Oct. 1, not-so-coincidentally the same day Harry announced their decision to take legal action against a British tabloid company that has been repeatedly "bullying" Meghan for the past year. Though we can't 100 percent confirm whether there's a correlation, many royal family fans believe Meghan wore the accessory to subtly and oh-so-classily send a message to those bullies.
The duchess didn't just wear the bracelet once on her tour, either. After first debuting it with a beige Banana Republic dress, she wore it again with a green shirtdress and black pumps that same day, and a third time the following afternoon in a button-up trench dress while delivering a speech about treating people with respect. What's more is that Megan also wore a necklace with a similar evil eye charm on the very first day of the tour. Before embarking on her south African adventures, Meghan wore the evil eye bracelet while cheering on her pal Serena Williams at the US Open, too!
