I Stopped Caring About My Fashion Week Outfits, and That's Precisely When They Got Good

My last look was one I've thought about for months, as evidenced by this love letter to the Katie Holmes look it's based on. Like many people who saw the actress's outfit plastered across the internet and social media, I bought this cardigan and bralette set but chickened out every time I got close to wearing it. Fashion Week seemed like the perfect place to take it for a spin. I love how the black blazer grounds the look, as do the jeans and neutral boots. In fact, under a blazer, the skin-baring aspect was kept to a minimum and the look actually feels classic — maybe even tame.
