Rihanna Is Ready For the Super Bowl in a Crocodile Skirt With Double Leg Slits
The Super Bowl is only a few days away, and Rihanna is preparing for her halftime performance in style. On Feb. 9, the legendary singer and Fenty mogul appeared at a press conference in Phoenix, AZ, dressed in crocodile print and matching lace-up heels. The Alaïa runway look featured a maxi skirt with thigh-high leg slits on both sides, accentuated by the crisscross pattern of her laces. On top, she wore a shearling leather moto jacket and styled it off the shoulder with her black bra peeking through.
To accessorize her outfit ahead of game day, Rihanna opted for a thick silver chain choker and a cluster of custom silver hoop earrings by Maria Tash. She swept her hair into a ponytail with two braids, leaving a few face-framing strands out, and made her bold red lip the prime focus of her makeup.
Rihanna has been getting fans excited for a few weeks now, as she previously wore a furry coat and skin-tight catsuit for the enigmatic halftime show trailer, but the major details regarding her performance are still unknown. And while the set list is still up in the air, you can definitely expect her to deliver on the fashion.
Since the birth of her son in May, Rihanna has stepped out in everything from a dramatic velvet gown with puff sleeves at the Golden Globes, to a strapless sequin mermaid look for the premiere of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever." Read on to see her crocodile skirt in greater detail, and stay tuned to find out what she'll wear for the big game (because we just know it's going to be good).
