All eyes were on Selena Gomez at the "My Mind & Me" premiere in Hollywood. On Nov. 2, the "Lose You to Love Me" singer, who recently recovered from COVID-19, strutted down the red carpet in a purple silk gown by Rodarte to celebrate the release of her new feature-length film.

Over Gomez's right shoulder, the asymmetrical dress was draped with a lengthy bow design that swept over the diagonal neckline — revealing her massive neck tattoo — and hung down past the hem. The silk fabric hugged at the waist and rested in a gentle flare just above her ankles. She paired the look with a rectangular clutch embellished with crystals, embellished PVC Mules by Paris Texas, and colorful David Webb streamer earrings. Like the infamous "dress" meme that went viral in 2015, Gomez's outfit seemed to change color under the stage lights during an interview about her new film, tricking the eye into seeing shades of pink rather than purple.

The majority of the film premiere attendees kept their color palettes neutral, sticking to warm shades of beige, tan, and black. In contrast, Gomez's sparkling violet ensemble was an exquisite choice for the guest of honor. The star even sported an orange manicure as an extra pop of color, beautifully complementing the gemstones dangling from her ears.

Gomez was styled by Kate Young, the stylist responsible for unforgettable red carpet moments like Sophie Turner's Louis Vuitton outfit at the Academy Museum Gala, Margot Robbie's cutout cape dress at the "Amsterdam" premiere, and Gomez's shimmering wedding dress at the Emmys.

Leading up to the premiere, the singer released her emotional new single, "My Mind & Me," inspired by her mental health journey. "My mind and me, we don't get along sometimes / And it gets hard to breathe," she sings on the track. While Gomez previously admitted she was "kind of scared" about sharing her highly-personal mental health documentary with the world, she was the picture of confidence and style on Wednesday's red carpet.
