True - I don't mind people as long as they're focused on working out! It only bothers me when they stand around staring as if they've never seen a girl lift weights before.. stop oogling and focus on your own workout please :) Most people are nice at my gym, if you are waiting for a machine and let them know they'll give you a holler before they finish so that you can have the machine next :)

this is always the time of year that i HATE going to the gym. i have always gone 3-5 days a week for years and years, and since this is the time when people decide that they want to get healthy - there are always so many more people, and lots of people working out together. this means that there's a lot of people talking to each other instead of working out and being really distracting. honestly, when i'm working out, i don't want to be able to listen to your conversation with your friend, and i don't want to have to wait for a machine while you are just 'strolling along at a leisurely pace' instead of actually working out. spare me the few weeks of a headache and go to another gym!
