I always add chopped (organic) fruit too morning oatmeal. I adore strawberries, blueberries, Pink Lady apples, red grapes... I also like to toss in either some ground flax seed or raw walnuts. Yum... :drool:

My favourite topping mix has to be stewed pear and a crumbled ginger cookie (though mixing in drinking chocolate is amazing, too). I had oatmeal for the first time around three months ago and I'm hooked - it's the most filling, delicious breakfast! My oatmeal 'base' is 1/3 cup rolled oats cooked with 2/3 cups water then half a banana (mashed) added in during the last minute of cooking. The banana sweetens it naturally so I don't have to add heaps of honey like I used to.
