Alex Morgan Reveals the Workout Keeping Her "Sane, Fit, and Feeling Good" While Pregnant

Alex Morgan is due to give birth to her first child (a daughter!) this month, and this week she revealed one of the things keeping her "sane, fit, and feeling good": workouts in her garage gym. Morgan shared a snippet of one workout, which involved lunges, goblet squats, and resistance band deadlifts and back exercises. Clearly she's keeping up her modified training even with gyms closed and a daughter on the way, which is what you do when you're aiming to make the USWNT roster for the Olympics (now postponed a year). Why take on that unique and challenging journey?

Beyond her own personal goals, Morgan told Glamour, "I want women to feel like they don't have to choose one or the other. The more female athletes that are moms in their career, the better — from Allyson Felix, to Serena Williams, to my teammate Sydney Leroux."
