For Miss Maine's Marina Gray, there's nothing better than training in the fresh outdoors.
"I'm very active outside. I love hiking, and I live near a national park in the Summer, so I spend a lot of my time outside being active," she said. "My fitness routine for the pageant changed. I went to the gym every day, and a lot getting in shape for this was based around my diet. I was never really that aware of what I was putting in my body and the repercussions of eating different types of food. I actually cut out gluten and dairy, which made my focus less foggy over time, and I also saw results in my body being less bloated. I also felt like I had more energy."
