PS: What's your favorite-ever on-camera look?
Jess Sims: Definitely what I wore for my Whitney Houston class! I got inspiration from her "How Will I Know" video where she's wearing a simple black dress with sparkles and matching arm sleeves. I found the same vibe, but with an activewear twist with a sports bra and biker shorts. Also, what I wore for my Black History Month Two For One Bootcamp (co-taught with Chase Tucker) is easily my favorite look of 2020. I wore a white sports bra and legging set with gold snakeskin and my hair in braids. Chase also wore white and gold and we both felt so powerful.
PS: Do you seek outfit inspiration anywhere?
JS: No, not really! I get inspiration from the Peloton apparel line. I see what's coming out and then think about fun ways to mix and match things! The number one thing for me is comfort, because if I'm not comfortable in what I'm wearing then I won't feel confident. The next thing I think about is what makes me feel my best: solid colors, high-neck sports bras, and little accents like a fun scrunchie, a headband, or socks!
