Princi Bakery Partnership With Starbucks

Starbucks's Pastry Case Is About to Get a MAJOR Upgrade

Starbucks has announced a new partnership with the Italian bakery Princi. This news comes about a year after the coffee chain shuttered all of its La Boulange French bakery locations. Princi prides itself on handmade Italian pastries, baked in an "always-on" beechwood-burning oven. According to a press release, Starbucks will "exclusively offer food from artisan Italian bakery Princi at all new Roastery locations" including the upcoming New York City and Shanghai Roasteries and any Starbucks Reserve-only concept stores that will debut in 2017. Although the menu has not been released yet, Starbucks has mentioned it will include some exclusive pastries, a few Princi bestsellers, and breakfast and dinner options. In addition to these announcements, Starbucks plans to expand standalone Princi cafe locations into international markets starting next year. Watch the video to learn more about the bakery and its partnership with Starbucks.
