Whole Foods Is About to Make Your Meal Planning a Whole Lot Easier

Whole Foods has exciting news for home cooks. The popular supermarket chain has teamed up with Purple Carrot, a plant-based meal kit subscription service, to provide at home delivery of all of the ingredients needed to prepare a flavorful dinner for two.

The program, which kicked off in Massachusetts, is priced at $19.99 per box and aims to simplify the hassle of measuring, chopping, and forgetting ingredients needed in your favorite dishes. The current meal plan menu includes Mongolian seitan stir-fry, pan-seared tofu and black rice noodles, and cashew korma with cauliflower rice.

Whole Foods is launching a national rewards program for loyal customers in 2017, and also plans to expand the option to purchase meal kits both in-store and via delivery in the future. Sounds like a win for those of us who are too busy to prep, but would love to cook at home more often!
