Copycat LeFou's Brew Recipe Plus Booze

Forget the Grey Stuff, You Need to Whip Up This Copycat Recipe For Boozy LeFou's Brew

It's very true that the food at the Disney parks is unparalleled. Some of the best food you'll ever have — like the Grey Stuff, churros, and, of course, Dole Whip — is right inside a Disney park, but fortunately, many Disney recipes can be re-created at home, like LeFou's Brew!

LeFou's Brew, which is inspired by Beauty and the Beast, can be found at Gaston's Tavern at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, but thanks to this copycat recipe from Inside the Magic, you can now make it at home! The recipe comes together in two parts — the whipped topping and the smoothie itself. But because we love a good cocktail on a sunny day, we added booze, too.

You can make the whipped topping ahead of time, which is what I did, so it had time to firm up in the refrigerator. Then I made the smoothie — with an addition of rum! — the following day and topped it with the whipped topping. This refreshingly fruity drink is perfect for a summer day at home — but watch out, because it melts really fast! The recipe makes two small drinks but with plenty of extra whipped topping, which would taste great on some fresh fruit or another smoothie of your liking. Or you could just eat it straight out of the bowl! Check out the recipe ahead, then find even more Disney recipes to make at home.
