South Dakota: Chislic

Chislic, or "meat on a stick," is a common bar snack found in North Dakota. Typically it consists of deep-fried cubes of lamb, venison, or beef, served with toothpicks, garlic salt, and saltine crackers. Outside the Dakotas, you probably won't see this item on bar menus.
