7 Limited-Edition Oreo Flavors We Wish Were Always on Shelves

If we knew exactly when to expect the next crazy Oreo flavor to hit shelves, we'd be counting the days. Until then, let's take a trip down (recent) memory lane to reminisce over seven limited-edition flavors that we wish would make the transition to permanent grocery-shelf fixture.

Toasted Coconut Oreo

While the texture is not-surprisingly quite different, Toasted Coconut Oreos, the current limited-edition release, is otherwise a spot-on representation of the classic American dessert.

Pumpkin Spice Oreo

You don't have to be basic to fall in love with Pumpkin Spice Oreos. Sweet and spiced, they ranked respectably high in our taste test of all things pumpkin spice. Thankfully, they're back on shelves for a second year this Fall.

Cotton Candy Oreo

Cotton Candy Oreos, a Spring '15 flavor, exclusive to Target, tasted exactly how you think they would, which is to say like condensed cotton candy and pure happiness.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Oreo

Summer of 2014, Oreo and Reese's teamed up for the ultimate chocolate-peanut-butter cookie: Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Oreo. Perhaps these will make a comeback someday since it's such a timeless flavor?

Marshmallow Crispy Oreo

We wish we could time travel back to Winter '14 so that we could go HAM on a package of Marshmallow Crispy Oreos. They not only taste like the childhood favorite but crunch just like them, too.

Cookie Dough Oreo

While Cookie Dough Oreos didn't exactly taste like cookie dough — to our palate it was more like a mocha Oreo — we were still on board with this flavor in Winter '14.

Red Velvet Oreo

Notable for including the first new cookie flavor since the Golden Oreo (typically only the filling is different), Red Velvet Oreos are a must try for fans of the classic cake. (You may still be able to find a container on shelves — they were released in Winter '15.)
