A new month means new Trader Joe's items to stash in your cart, and now that it's October, it's looking a lot like Fall in each aisle! We've scouted out all the best new foods available this month and have reported back on all the ones you've got to try, including an Apple Cider Jam that will instantly transport you to a crisp Autumn afternoon. The next time you plan on making a trip to your closest TJ's, here's what you should pick up — along with all of Trader Joe's pumpkin foods, of course.

Curried Carrot & Cashew Dip ($4)

A new TJ's dip has arrived that will make you put hummus on the back burner for a while: Curried Carrot & Cashew Dip, a perfectly creamy spread that's super savory and spiced. Unlike hummus, this is made without chickpeas; the softened, blended cashews give it a thick and creamy consistency while curry powder, turmeric, soy sauce, and red onion give it plenty of zing.

Icelandic Style Nonfat Yogurt ($2)

Icelandic yogurt, called skyr, is one of the healthiest yogurts, and it also happens to be really tasty. Trader Joe's new version, Icelandic Style Nonfat Yogurt in Plain and Strawberry, is reminiscent of Greek yogurt but is even creamier thanks to the way it's strained, and it's got less of a bite.

Peanut Butter Roundels ($3)

Trader Joe's Peanut Butter Roundels are basically a fancier Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, and OMG — we're in love. At first, you'd expect these cookie-shaped chocolates to be like Girl Scouts' Peanut Butter Patties, but there's no crunchy cookie in the center. The rounds are just dark and milk chocolate filled with a thick layer of creamy peanut butter, and one of these is rich enough to satisfy your cravings and then some.

04
Apple Cranberry Tart ($4)

Premade desserts from stores' bakery sections aren't always the greatest, but Trader Joe's new Apple Cranberry Tart is an exception. Made with Northern Spy apples and cranberries in a flaky, buttery dough, this galette-style tart tastes like Fall and is impressive enough to serve at a holiday meal. For even better results, I'd suggest warming it up in the oven and serving it with vanilla ice cream.

05
Pumpkin & Roasted Pepitas Cookies ($2)

Move over, gingersnaps. Trader Joe's Pumpkin & Roasted Peptitas Cookies have arrived, and they're definitely one of the best Fall snacks we've tried this year. Slightly spicy and gingery, these thin and crispy cookies have the added crunch of roasted pumpkin seeds, and we plan on pairing these with homemade PSLs all month long.

06
Apple Cider Jam ($4)

If embracing all things "basic" (i.e., pumpkin spice, apple, and dark lipstick) all Fall long is wrong, then we don't want to be right. We're obsessed with this Apple Cider Jam, which is made with diced apples, sugar, lemon juice, and spices, and it makes us want to soak up every bit of a crisp Fall day. Slather this on cinnamon toast for the best cold-weather breakfast.

Dark Chocolate Orange Sticks ($3)

If you share my belief that dark chocolate and orange is one of the most delicious flavor combinations, do yourself a favor and pick up Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Orange Sticks. The miniature rectangles of soft orange filling are encased in a hardened layer of dark chocolate, giving you a bit of a crunch followed by a smooth consistency in every bite. Kind of like chocolate-covered orange gummies, these are totally irresistible.
