Ikea's New Collection Is a Big Departure From Its Scandinavian Roots

Tropical prints, vivacious colors, and midcentury minimalism — these are a few of our favorite things! Ikea has delivered, once again, with its Tillfalle limited-edition collection.

The team behind this collection spent time studying architecture in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for inspiration and it certainly shows. They were also influenced by Sao Paulo's lush vegetation and Brazil's affinity for dancing. Blending Brazilian flair with their classic Scandinavian designs, Ikea presents a colorful but still simple collection of tiles, textiles, and kitchenware. It's an undeniably fabulous combination and totally different from their February release.
