Demi Lovato Is Honored at the GLAAD Media Awards, Thanks Wilmer Valderrama
Demi Lovato is continuing her exciting 2016 by being honored with the Vanguard Award at the 2016 GLAAD Media Awards in Beverly Hills, CA. Her BFF Nick Jonas was there to present Demi, using touching words to describe the "Confident" singer's support and advocacy for the LGBT community — Demi later took to Instagram to thank Nick, saying: "Last night I was given the Vanguard award from GLAAD and one of my best friends presented it to me with words that totally made me cry. That friend is my brother @nickjonas and I'm so thankful for our friendship."
After Nick's introduction, Demi took the stage, thanking her manager first, and saying, with tears in her eyes, that she "wouldn't be alive today without" him, referencing her past fight with drugs and depression. To finish off, Demi, of course, mentioned her longtime boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, saying she was proud to be his girlfriend.
