"They spent most of their trip in [the city] going to concerts and living the New Orleans nightlife," she said. "What a cool way to enjoy your wedding week, right?"
However, on the day of the ceremony — which was supposed to be outdoors — a huge rainstorm hit the city, forcing the lovebirds to switch gears last minute.
"[They had to change] the venues of pretty much everything," the photographer said. "Even with all the rain, I never saw Santana stressed while I was there — she was calm and collected and just going with the flow, and it makes me love her even more!"
They ended up splitting their wedding over the course of two days.
"Friday we were able to shoot the wedding, get family photos and a few outdoor portraits during a break in the rain," the photographer said. "On Sunday the weather was perfect, and we scheduled a sunset portrait and detail session near Jackson Square, right in New Orleans. Jasmine Rose describes the entire experience as "perfect and surreal." See the gorgeous photos ahead!
